Hello!! Sorry for the intrusion, hehehe. My name is Felipe, and until recently, I have been editing games for the Spectrum on cassette. Due to personal and work reasons, I’m going to stop editing, and I'm saying goodbye with a compilation of homebrew games for The Spectrum on USB. I want it to be the best and most complete compilation of homebrew games that has ever been made. It will be a non-profit edition, just to provide users of The Spectrum with a pack to spend hours and hours in front of their ZX. I’ve seen some of your games on http://Itch.io and wanted to ask if you would be interested in contributing any of your ZX games to this compilation. I already have legendary creators from the scene on board, but I’d also like to reach out to you. It can be one game, two, or as many as you want, in .TAP format. Even simply granting me permission and letting me know which games I could include would be enough, and I can download them from http://Itch.io. We have created a system where the games will be encrypted, and no one will be able to use them digitally; they will only be playable on their The Spectrum, Divide, or computer. Me encanta, este juego tiene mucha esencia años 80-90, Alex kidd, Sonic,... muy atractivo y sobre todo muy ameno de jugar, llevo un buen rato dándole y se me ha pasado el tiempo volando (volveré a él a ver si me lo consigo pasar). Hi, the game does not work on Spectrum 128k +2. I get the cat in the loading screen but after that a currupt screen with green border and black, green stripes.
Hello nikosidis, the game is tested on real hardware (+2 and +2a) and works well, as an example on the YouTube channel "Sinc Lair"
is loaded directly from the cassette and everything went well, make sure you have recorded the tape well and although i assume you already know load the 128k version only from "Tape Loader" or from "128 BASIC", if you load the 128k versión from "48 BASIC" no it will work, that's why there is a specific version for 48k. I'm sorry for the problems but I don't really know what could be happening, greetings and thanks for letting me know anyway ;)
Thank you for the reply. I use DivIDE and the 128K version. I could always try to use tape but it is so slow :) Most games work with DivIDE. Is it possible to buy the cassette?
Hello again, if you are referring to the physical cassette of the game, there are no physical editions for sale, sorry. Regarding the problem, I have read that there are certain incompatibilities with some games when using DivIDE, unfortunately I do not have any DivIDE or DivMMC unit to test it. I'm very sorry I can't give you a good solution, tell me if you finally found a way to solve it, greetings ;)
